kathy's journey
I am so nervous, just like everyone on here when they first started I suppose. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that I need to eat more. Really? Here I am at 52 and if I eat more than 1200 calories/day or don't do daily cardio, I gain weight. Sad When using trainers or nutritionists to help me, none of them believed my calories were really that low.

I have always fought my weight ever since puberty. Our family didn't eat the healthiest and I had hypothyroidism. I wasn't into sports and was content to just read my books. I yo-yo dieted all through high school, got married and gained 50 pounds with my first pregnancy. To lose it I saw a dr. who prescribed diet pills and an 800 calorie diet and it's been a slippery slope ever since. Every time I regain (or had a baby so of course I gained A LOT), I did cardio and starved myself. I hired a trainer after my last baby to lose it (age 40) and even HE recommended 1200 calories/day, one hour of cardio/day and weights. Took a while but I dropped 20 pounds. that time. And he'd give me crap when I lost muscle. An hour a day of cardio and I'm not supposed to lose muscle. I was uninformed back then though. Now, I'm informed and in denial haha

I DID have a time 2 years ago I was in great shape while using a trainer, lifting and cardio with him, but my diet was still only around 1,000 calories/day. He freaked out when he asked to see my macros. He also got frustrated with me if i didn't do daily cardio in my fat burning zone. See why my head is so messed up?

Started the reset this week and adding 100 calories/week to get to TDEE. I found a set of power blocks used so I snapped those up and I'm starting Cathe's XTrain 90 day rotation.

My weight 153
Height 5'5
Size 10

I'd like to fit into a Size 6 again, no matter what I weigh.

Here I go..........
