Hi and welcome!

I'm relatively new to this as well. Just found EM2WL at the end of May in the middle of a weight management program that was advocating moving more and eating less...for the last 5 weeks of that program, I increased my calories each week by 100 and didn't gain or lose, which was what I wanted to accomplish. I just had to survive while biting my tongue when people would make comments about their tricks to being successful in a process that would be doomed for failure. Only 24 hours in a day, so can only move so much...and you can't keep dropping your calories to zero. I still have a ways to go as I am still trying to find my TDEE. I think I am finally approaching it and should be heading into a reset at the end of summer.

Glad that you have joined the pack moving ahead in our journeys. Just take it one day and one task at a time. It can become overwhelming if we try and "figure it all out" before we start.
