Is It Too Late?
I was given a recommendation to eat about 3000++ calories to repair my metabolism (from eating about 1000 calories a day on average) and my actual TDEE is only 2200 (apprx.). I've been eating about 3500 calories on average this past two weeks, and it's very, very uncomfortable. Is it too late to lower, because I feel as though I will just keep on gaining and gaining and never stop gaining!

Stats: 5'0, currently between 100-110 pounds, up from 95 pounds two weeks ago
Other medical issues: My last period was in June of this year.

Please Please Please!!! Also, my main concern with this is I heard if you keep fluctuating your intake, then it takes longer for the metabolism to repair.

RE: Is It Too Late?
Hi there,

Who told you to eat above your TDEE to repair your metabolism?

We normally suggest eating at your TDEE for your activity level for 8-12wks, not above.

I was told that my body needed calories to repair vital organs. In, truth, it's just made my legs fatter and my stomach plumper.
