Lillebanon's Progress

Thumbs Down Lillebanon's Progress
Its been 3.5 months since I started eating more, cutting way back on carudio, and adding strength training to my routine. I did get a little lazy with the exercise during the first major heat wave. I have been avoiding the measuring tape, afraid of disappointing myself I guess. I finally broke down and measured this morning.
From the start until now:
Neck: .5" lost
Bust: No Loss
Natural Waist: 2" lost
Navel: 2.5" lost
Post Baby Gut: no loss
Hips: 2.5" lost
Thigh: .5" lost
Calf: .75" lost
Upper Arm: .5" lost
Forearm: .25" lost

I am disappointed with my baby gut not budging, but happy overall. Also I am down 16 lbs.

RE: Lillebanon's Progress
I know the gut is usually the last place to lose fat. I guess with everything else moving so well all around it I expected to see just a little change there.

But will the extra skin EVER go away? O_o
I am at least eternally grateful that I inherited my mother's flexible skin, and I do not have any stretchmarks from pregnancy. She had 6 babies with no stretchmarks!

RE: Lillebanon's Progress
Hi

Well my skin stretched so bad that I had a tummy tuck. No matter how much I worked out the muscle separation and skin(I could pull it down past the pubic bone) was an eye sore...

RE: Lillebanon's Progress
The belly is the l.a.s.t. place to go on me, for sure.....meaning..it's always there, lol

I've also had surgeries (Endometriosis/infertility issues) which left me with quite a bit of scar tissue just beneath the belly button. So I pretty much always have the slightest bulge there, even at my lower bf% ranges. Sad
