Wink gem diary
so, it was recommended that i start a diary, which i though might be a good idea. I do have a tendency to ramble somewhat on the other threads, so it could be a good idea to keep all my thoughts in one place. Please bear with me, as this is going to jump around like crazy...

I've been eating according to fitbit calories for about a week now, and i have been really enjoying it. Some of the amounts have been seriously high, which has worried me a little bit, as i am trusting my fitbit entirely to give me the correct totals. Should it be wrong, i would be over-eating qutie considerably. I guess i will find out in a weeks time, i should have lost half a pound if the maths is correct. On the other hand I am typing this whilst wearring my favourite jeans, which 5 months ago, literally wouldn't go past my thighs. Now, not only do they fit, but they are starting to feel loose, which is totally awesome - so obviously something is happening. I have been training really hard for my half marathon, running at least 3 miles three times weekly, then a longer run at the weekend. And, also doing strength training three times a week again. I feel that these extra calories are definately benefitting me.

I would really like to loose some more fat, before my holiday with my hubby in september. I love my body but i can defo see some room for improvement. I want to be able to run around the water parks, and the beach without worrying about what people think about me, and also for once actually be proud to show off my holiday photos, rather than having to go through them first to hide all the horrible shots.

I am obviously delighted that i have lost weight and inches, but i really feel that my favourite benefit is feeling as though i have control over my eating. I don't binge, then feel guilty and wanting to starve myself. I don't feel as though there are things that are out of reach. or feel as though i have to restrict my eating of certain things. It sounds crazy, but i am seriously happily living my life, i don't think i even really think about food like i did before, where i was constantly thinking about what i was going to eat next, is everyone going to think i;m a pig if i have another chocolate or buscuit. Now i literally eat what i want and move on, and its AWESOME!!!!!!!

So, i feel like i'm here to stay the course, i have totally turned my life around, and am eating loads and exercising loads (and really enjoying it) i have found that i have started to inspire more people around me, now they can see my results, so hopefully they will also abandon these crazy 1000 calories diets in favour of listening to what there body wants.

i really need to try and dig out some photos of what i looked like previously so you guys can see the difference in how i look

if you have managed to get this far, then fair play to you, you are a better man than i am lol... until next time

RE: gem diary
Aw ww thank you for your kind messages - really lovely
I'm having a rest day today in preparation for leg day tomorrow, it's gorgeous outside so I think we are off to the beach today, which will be amazing.
My hubby has finally seen the light and realised that diet foods are evil, so we actually have real butter in the fridge - god I haven't had real butter for years, but it's absolutely amazing!!!! Nom norm nom

So quick update - lost another pound so am now 10.91/2 which is brilliant, the definition in my arms is amazing, I just look so strong it's awesome. Have decided that I'm going to eat at maintenance next week, to remind my body that I will feed it.
Don't know about you guys but I just can't believe that I used to eat just 1200 what was I thinking??? Able to eat ice cream and cake all in one day and still loose weight?!! It's so totally awesome, we need to get to get the word out.

Oh and thank you all for reading happy

RE: gem diary
fantastic - you really are doing so well - I am a tad jealous as just starting my first cut and I so want to be you (obviously not in a weird stalker way wink)

And yes just cutting from 2500 to 2050 is tough - how on earth we did less I have NO idea!!! although interesting that my body already is starting to get used to less food - so I need to keep an eye on that!

So anyway pics please!!! and really chuffed and pleased for you on your progress you really do sound like you are rocking this way of life!!
