Scared and excited Newbie!
Hi there! Just wanted to say since last night I have read so much that just makes such sense and absolutely blows my mind at the same time. I am so super excited to find this. I am changing how I eat and will stop the calorie reduction.
It couldn't come at a better time as I am starting Cathe's STS this week!!!!

Let me add I am going to be 45 in less than a month. I love Cathe Friedrich and I am not new to working out but I have been focusing to much on cardio and have shifted to heavy weights. I just started STS!!big grin

I have been stuck at the same weight for over a year...ranging from 203-210 pounds. I figure I'll gain weight at first but am going to keep pushing on and work towards the losing inches!! I am putting my scale away in a dark corner in my closet. So that's it for my added tidbits!!

Hi! I'm new too and 45. I'm doing Stronglifts 5x5. I haven't been 'undereating' to the extent that some people have but I have been slowly upping my calories so I can see what my actual TDEE is...and then I'll see if I want to cut. Good luck to you both!

Hello! I'm a little late on this since you've already started STS, but definitely take some pics and measurements prior to starting if you haven't already. Pics especially are so revealing and can really help when we're not sure we're seeing progress!
