RE: Hoping this is the best decision I have ever made.....
Weigh in today 72.2kg

Wk 1 72.8
Wk 2 72.4
Wk 3 72.5
Wk 4 72.2

Haven't gone through a whole monthly cycle. At the start of the year it was around every 38 days. Interesting to note though in May eating above TDEE it was bang on 28 days - never been known! June though it was 34 days - think my true weight is one full week after so next Mondays weigh in... Going to hold of till then before increasing by 100 cals. Sound like a good idea?

Last week:

Calories eaten 15,745 avg 2,249 per day
Calories burned est 15,900 avg 2,271 per day

Macros:
Carbs 39%
Fat 26%
Protein 35%

Thanks.

Just got to embrace the process. You may have guessed I like routine, so a bit apprehensive for when I go back to Uni in Sept because my step count will go up considerably anywhere between 18 and 25 thousand a day and my TDEE will have to be adjusted and may disrupt a clear run at eating that for a clear 6 months. But i'll just have to deal with that when I get to it!

Still on an excellent run of sleep and have not binged for several weeks happy

Thinking when I add a 100 calories think I will eat nuts as they seem to pack a punch calorie wise for a small amount.

Today was 6B from NROLFW, the dumbbell shoulder press - I struggled with it for 5B and I thought the weight increase might have been too much, today I decided to stick with same weight and crushed it no problem! Feeling strong. Before starting this i'd be stuck at the same weight not making any progress. Really think I have made some progress.

Been looking at stage 2 and there is a move in there i'm not familiar with: Front squat / Push press. Studied the book, gonna find some you tube videos and then practise with just the bar to get it right, having mirrors in my gym helps

Congrats on your shoulder press! It's amazing how much more productive our workouts are when they are fueled properly and we are not running on empty...

RE: Hoping this is the best decision I have ever made.....
Weigh in today and for some reason I was really nervous. I don't like weighing myself, never did it when I was anorexic, I used a belt which has loads of pen lines drawn on, still have it, don't think I can ever chuck it out. When they kept constantly weighing me at the eating disorder clinic it made me worse - in my mind the scale was never going to "win".

So my June weight fluctuations look like this:

Wk 1 72.8
Wk 2 72.4
Wk 3 72.5
Wk 4 72.2
Wk 5 71.5

I'm wondering if my body is seeing this as a cut after May when I ate above suggested TDEE or is my body trying to get back to 68- 69 kg the weight I was in April time. Looking at what is happening - will I need to spend 6 months eating TDEE or can it be shorter. Not that I have determined what TDEE is!

Calories eaten 15,623 avg 2,231 per day
Calories burned est 15,836 avg 2,262 per day

Got my last 3 assignment result back from Uni last week - 3 Firsts! So I had a beer to celebrate, not often I have a drink because of the calories and I still felt uneasy about it. When I was anorexic and I wanted a drink calorie info was hard to come by - I didn't have a smartphone or apps such as MFP with access to whole data base of data, but I knew how many calories a pint of Guiness had so I'd get on the rowing machine, burn of that amount plus another 100 just for inaccuracies and discrepancies! So didn't drink very often.

Can't believe what I used to do. I'm beginning to feel free......

100 extra cals today.......

You are doing great ... another fabulous update! Looks by the weight loss that you might still be eating slightly below maintenance... How awesome is that? Dropping weight on 2,200+ calories a day!

(and congrats on your assignments!)

I think all of us feel the same way! So much time wasted eating next to nothing and working out like crazy people. If we had only known there is a better way........
