protein shakes
I'm having a hard time getting in enough protein...not a huge fan of meat ...I eat it but can't handle a ton...and can't tolerate too much dairy. Right now, my goal is 113 g of protein, but once I get up too my tdee it will be around around 200 g. EEK!!!

Are there healthy, lower carb protein shakes you recommend? Preferably some pre-packaged ones for the nights I work. (I have beachbody shakes, and they're great for when I'm home , but not as convenient for work.)

RE: protein shakes
I find getting some Whey Protein Powder (or any protein powder) and some small tupperware containers then measure out the amount into the container for on the go.

I have two size containers for either 1 scoop or 2.

Pretty handy.

Also, are you on Pinterest? We have lots of informative boards there and one specifically targeted towards High Protein Recipe Ideas. There are tons of ways to sneak in protein without meat and that board may give you some ideas and/or inspiration...

Mary Jo:
I guess I'm looking for some that are already mixed...like EAS or saomething. I don't like the taste or consistency of protein shakes that are just shaken (without a blender).

Anitra: I'll check that out. Thanks

RE: protein shakes
Have you seen the shaker bottles? http://www.amazon.com/BlenderBottle-Clas...B001KABV52

You could store protein powder in there and then just add water later. I love them! Make mixing protein SO much easier.

RE: protein shakes
I get it. I'm picky too. I have found my favorite powder and it must be with milk in my vitamix. Period. no grit for me, thank you.
