lifting/exercise during reset
I'm still working my way up to my TDEE....due to an autoimmune disease, my workouts have been sporadic over past couple of years. I average about 2-3 days per week right now. I typically have either done an exercise bike and row machine, or a beachbody 21 day fix video. I also have Chalean Xtreme dvds.

i also work weird hours....and they vary from week to week. Sometimes 3-11, sometimes 7p-7a, other days 11p-7a. (I'm PRN which is why no set schedule.)

So, I guess my main question is, where should I start? I was looking at the book in the guide, but is that something that requires strict consistency?

RE: lifting/exercise during reset
Two to three days a week is really all you need, but try to make it strength training so you are building some metabolism-fueling muscle. Ideally, if you can just squeeze in three days a week and then stay physically active (which it sounds like you already are) that should be very beneficial. And if you have any time to spare - even 15 minutes - throw in a quick HIIT workout or even 100 kettlebell swings to get your heart rate up.

RE: lifting/exercise during reset
Setting up time during your busy day is going to take some discipline and planning! Try to set aside at least 30 minutes a day 3 days a week. It doesn't have to be the same time everyday. Set up a schedule that will work for you and is a schedule you can commit to. wink

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken! kiss
