Heavy Lifting & Barre Workouts
Hey there - new here and new to heavy lifting. For the past 6 months have mainly been doing barre streaming workouts which I love. Would like to start heavy lifting (will have to do from home) and also still try and do the barre workouts. Anyone incorporate both? Any recommendations on a lifting program that would allow me to incorporate both without compromising my results.

I keep searching for a good lifting program, and unfortunately miss the cyber sale for the strength training book from here.

RE: Heavy Lifting & Barre Workouts
I do a litany of workouts besides lifting, just because I like a variety (see my recent journal post about exercise ADD, haha) and I would say I get results. I haven't done barre but yoga is a staple for me, and in fact I think yoga has done a lot for my upper body strength and core strength. Just listen to your body and try and incorporate rest into whatever routine you do. If you are new, EM2WL's book is the way to go, and I can also recommend NROLFW (book).
