RE: Jc/saranharm's em2wl journal
I wanted to also give you this link to a great Periscope broadcast that Kiki did recently on stress and how it can sabotage your goals. Just another reminder to sit back and enjoy the process and let it work for you.

RE: Jc/saranharm's em2wl journal
Great link.

I am way less stressed than I used to be (had all of those symptoms and more), but I do have some ways to go. I spent some time thinking (and crying) about how I can do that and I have a list. I'm going to relax about the mess everywhere. I hate clutter! But spend a small portion of my day picking it up- maybe while listening to some of my favorite music. I'm going to build in clean up times for my kids too. I want my husband to pick up too but I do not want to nag so i am not going to nag. So, relax standards as well. I may even only have my 6 year old do 1 side of his math worksheet. He us uncredibly bright, but tires quickly and then drags his feet. I may save the other side (which is almost identical) for weekends or the summer when he asks to do it (because he will). I don't think that will hurt and it will reduce some stress.

Also, after talking to my husband I learned that I was totally stressing about aomething that is not a problem! My hubs works from home and I run out to the gym for about an hour between finishing teaching and when he takes off for lunch (and does his workout). I thought my 3 year old would cause problems but he ends up snuggling in hubby's lap while he works! Now I can workout in peace, while my older children finish their worksheets. happy also, i like not getting up at 5 am for the gym- which is actually more packed then and less so at 10:30.

I am my own worst enemy, really.

This is so long but i will just throw this in here (will give more of an official update after 7-10 days?) upped my calories 100 to 2370. My last two weights (entered in happy scale) were down from my previous weigh in. ????

Sorry for typos- on mobile!

Awesome update! Love all of the reflecting... It's amazing how when somebody brings something to your attention (like the stress) and you actually start thinking about it, there are often easy solutions, work-arounds, and, like you said, some of the things you may have been stressing about were totally unwarranted! Sometimes just paying a little more attention to taking care of ourselves can make positive changes for everybody in our lives...

Yay for weight coming down as the intake goes up! Sometimes our bodies just respond positively to being fed properly... Keep up the fabulous work ... you are off to a great start!!!

Yep, we all just need to learn to roll with the punches and do the best we can. "Life Happens", and it's all about making the best choices that we can in that moment. As long as the good days outnumber the bad ones, it's all good!
