Help please
Hi, I'm new to this but desperate to make some changes. I am 35, female, 138lbs and 5ft2. I have dieted on and off forever and as a result I am wobbly. I'm sick of exercising 4/5 times a week and counting calories but looking wobbly. I don't know where to start. I upped my calories to 1600 last week and ate 90 per cent clean food. Now I feel bloated and horrible. Don't know where to start xx

RE: Help please
Welcome! We would be happy to help you get started on the right track! Like Jc_wt said, have you read the Metabolism Reset Guide? I would also suggest reading the Starter Kit to get a good idea of the process you will be going through:

http://eatmore2weighless.com/faqs/

What you are experiencing is completely normal, but understanding the process before you begin is vital to your success. Take a look at those (if you haven't already) and let us know if you have further questions or need help getting started.

RE: Help please
Hi Shortbread, fellow newbie here. happy

I can relate with the bloating thing - I am eating between 1600-1800 calories and feel like a blimp full of air sometimes! But you know what? I am feeling happier and more energetic than I have in a long time, and am sleeping better - as an historical insomniac, this is a miracle in and of itself.

The kickstart guide is a must. Very good information there that lays it all out in an easy-to-follow format. For me, acknowledging that there is initial weight gain before the eventual weight loss is what helped me stay past week 4 and make it to week 6 of the metabolic reset. The article Anitra did on that is quite thorough and worth a read, especially if, like me, and a lot of others here, you have been on a low-cal starvation diet for some time, or have been on the restrict/binge roller coaster.

The people here are wonderful and helpful. Glad you are making a change for your better health and well-being. happy Best of luck to you on your journey!
