Wow, your strength amazes me..... You go through so much more each and every day, just to exist, than most of us could ever imagine. Hats off to you..

RE: Scaryann1's battle with eating and EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome)
I have never really thought of it as being strong. It's just something that is a part of me. I never understood why it hurt someone else when they would pop something out. For me and my family we've always just popped it back and went on with whatever we were doing. EDS is genetic and I do believe I got it from both of my parents, as did my sister and two brothers, all to varying degrees. Mine has been the worst as I started dislocating long before anyone else in my family. My shoulders started popping out when I was a baby learning how to walk. You know how you hold a baby's hands up in the air? They couldn't do that with me because my shoulders would come out. Even with that I didn't get a diagnosis until I was 43. Until then I was told that what I was describing was impossible and all in my head. Now I know better. Sad

Not so bloated this morning, yea! Was curious so I stepped on the scale...that was a crazy adventure. The first time I stepped on them I got a reading of 278, wait, did I see that right? Stepped on them again...283, again 279, okay one more time...280...

I never claimed to be normal, but who crawls under the vehicle to help work on it in an ankle length skirt? I do! LOL

Last month Today (this is what I wore to crawl under the Jeep)

Definitely not "normal" attire for mechanic-ing, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! laughing

Another week gone! I kind of missed helping Rick work on vehicles. I did get bored out of my skull yesterday when there wasn't anything I could do to help though. Last night was TV junk food night. I actually got my calories in, even went over what MFP had for my goal!

Weight = 282.2
Up - 1.8 pounds

Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) = 1878
Daily calories to maintain weight (TDEE) = 2348
Average calories = 2164
Last week Average Calories = 2056

Weight - April 286 pounds / Last week 280.4 pounds /Today 282.2/Total - 3.8 pounds Down 22.8 pounds since I started eating more in August 2015.
Calf- April 20.5 inches / Last week 19 inches/Today 19 inches/Total -1.5 inches
Thigh- April 30 inches / Last week 27.5 inches/Today 27.25 inches /Total - 2.75 inches
Hips - April 58 inches /Last week 56 inches/Today 56 inches/Total - 2 inches
Abdomen - April 51 inches / Last week 46 inches/ Today 45 inches/Total -6 inches
Waist - April 48 inches / Last week 46 inches/Today 46.5 inches/Total - 1.5 inches
Forearm - April 13 inches / Last week 12 inches/Today 12 inches/Total - 1 inches

Not many changes this week and I'm okay with that. (Today anyway. LOL) Haven't done much lifting since my elbow went out a few weeks ago, hoping to get back into that today.

Rick and I went Geocaching Wednesday and found two caches, then went again on Friday and found four caches. Wednesday's had a little bit of walking, but not a lot. Friday's caches were park and grabs, so we didn't do a lot of walking, but getting in and out of the Jeep counts, right? big grin I got a new phone this week and it works great for Geocaching! It's not often that I'm willing to buy a new phone, but at four years old it was getting so that every time an app was updated it wasn't compatible with my phone anymore. And it just didn't have any room left on it. Now, I just have to figure out a way to carry it, and watch it while walking with my crutches.

Things are slowing down a little. Now if I can just keep the mentality going and not drop back down where I was before! I'm still feeling very bloated and swollen from the heat and geocaching this week. My back is still killing me, I'm not sure if something is out or if it's just still angry from all I've put it through this week.

I can't believe how much junk I ate this week! I'm hoping that once it's gone, we don't buy any more for a while. I'm sure that's contributing to my blah and bloated feeling. I guess that's about it for this week's update. Thanks for being here!

Crappy food will do that, it does to me as well. Just drink a lot of water to flush out the sodium - ironically drinking water helps with bloat. Take care of that back! You are doing great, look at those inches lost!
