WHAT LEVEL OF ACTIVITY?
Hi,
So I am entering the 5th month since starting EM2WL and I have gone from eating no carbs and low calorie to 2300 calories! I gained around 9 lb total of which I don't feel is all fat since I have consistently been lifting heavier weights at Crossfit. This mean I gained muscle right?

My question is: I have been doing Crossfit 4-5 days a week for around 1 year now and recently I started a level 2 Crossfit program that consists of 3x a week 90 min intense weightlifting exercise and 1x week a regular 60 min crossfit workout. I upped my calories to 2,300 this week and it has stabilized. How should I recalculate my TDEE? Is this considered intense or moderate? Before I calculated it at moderate and my TDEE was 2,300.
Thanks

RE: WHAT LEVEL OF ACTIVITY?
That is a LOT of exercise! Definitely strenuous level... Make sure you are doing that exercise because you truly love it, and not because you feel the need for the calorie burn. Those are a lot of intense workouts with not much downtime for recovery and muscle healing.

Congrats on upping your calories and reintroducing carbs! Your body needs that fuel, and I am sure your workouts are much better after the change....

RE: WHAT LEVEL OF ACTIVITY?
Thanks for that! I definitely am not doing it for calorie burn. I love love love Crossfit! It is more of a sport for me than exercise. Just wanted to make sure I am not harming my metabolism by not eating enough. Should I just jump right from 2,300 ( Which is my current TDEE based on moderate activity level) to my new TDEE for strenuous activity which is 2,600?

RE: WHAT LEVEL OF ACTIVITY?
It's only 300 calories so you could probably just hop up there, or maybe do 150 this week and 150 next week (just so you don't feel overly full...)
