Happy Holidays from the EM2WL fam!
I just wanted to repost this amazing post from Kelly:

"As we start to gear up for the final days leading to Christmas (and Chanukah) remember a few things to help you get through this wonderful season.
1. The holidays are for spending time with loved ones. Spend the time with those who matter. Don't avoid parties or gatherings because you might be afraid of what people think. Give zero F@$^ks. You never know if this will be the last time you get to enjoy someone's company, so make it count.
2. Make choices that you have zero guilt over. Whether that is eating all of the yummy goodies, missing a workout in favor of watching movies with the family, or choosing to stay home and not go to the party, whatever it is, OWN that decision. Make no apologies for it.
3. If the thought of tracking your food over the next few days makes you stressed out - Then don't track. Don't add anything that will give you added stress. Take it as a "Chill" break and eat intuitively. By "Chilling" you are making the decision to relax and just enjoy. Give yourself that permission if you need to step away from the tracker.
4. Do whatever workouts you can fit into your busy week. If that means a 10 minute walk to decompress, then so be it. If you can hit the gym, awesome. If you have the time - Make it YOUR time.
5. When the holiday madness winds down, get yourself back on schedule and back on whatever track you are on. Don't allow yourself to snowball days into weeks and feel like you failed come the beginning of 2017. Enjoying the holidays should be a guilt free time for you. Allow yourself that time, but know what that time is over, getting back to routine is important.
Many of us have dreaded the holidays over the years because of all of the negative self talk that can occur. Make this holiday your chance to start healing your self worth. Give up the negative comments, give up caring what someone "might" possibly be thinking, Give up the stress and anxiety about what you put in your mouth. Make this holiday about seeing those people who matter the most, smiling and laughing with them all, seeing your children or grandchildren smiling on Christmas day. Make this holiday about love - love those around you. Love those who matter. And above all - Love Yourself.
