Happy Sunday, all! I've just finished my week at (close to) TDEE and am going to cut again for 4 weeks, then chill or TDEE over the holidays. I'm only cutting 150 calories, so less than 10%. I'm emphasizing protein, not worrying much about where carbs and fat fall. I've lost 1.5 inches around my waist since Sept.! Haven't been taking other measurements, but clothes feel loser than in Sept. And I feel great!

Starting weight in Nov. 2016 - ~145
Calorie range 1/10-4/7 = 2011-2308
Average weights 1/10-4/21 = 148.9-->156.8
Chill through May & June -- no weigh-ins, ate what I pleased
July - Sept -- calories 1750-2000; weight bounced between 150-153
Start 4-week cut -- calories 1660-1756; weight 150.8-->149.8
10/22-10/28 - average calories 1848, ave wt 149.6
10/29 starting 4-week cut to ~1700

Estimated TDEE -- ~1850
Estimated BMR -- ~1300

Good morning! This is my Sunday check in after week 1 of my second cut. Not much to report - just eating, walking, reading, writing... I hope everyone is well. I kind of miss the regular posts we used to have here.

Starting weight in Nov. 2016 - ~145
Reset/TDEE search Nov-Jan;
Jan-April calorie range 2011-2308; weight range 148.9-->156.8
Chill through May & June -- no weigh-ins, ate what I pleased
July - Sept -- calories 1750-2000; weight bounced between 150-153
Sept - Start 4-week cut -- calories 1660-1756; weight 150.8-->149.8
10/22-10/28 - average calories 1848, ave wt 149.6

Hey Sheila,
I don’t miss cutting at all rolling on the floor ! Glad to hear you had a smooth week and was able to add some walks. I had a cold that wouldn’t go away and took 10 days to start feeling normal again...

Thanks! I’m definitely better, but it was one of those colds that doesn’t go away and keeps dragging...

Good morning! Checking in after week 2 of my second cut. It's been a good week - I've been getting lots of protein and happy fat (tasty and healthful) and I'm not feeling deprived at all. Just got back from a lovely breakfast out with the hubby - French toast, an egg, bacon. Yum! Hope you all have a great week!

Hi Sheila, you are doing so well ... it must feel good to be losing (hopefully only) fat while you are eating 1700 and enjoying life. Great news and really encouraging to follow your journey.

You have been so consistent in documenting everything. If only we were all doing this as consistently as you. I really liked it when there were more people here. I will aim to start documenting my journey again and hopefully a few others may join in.

Day to day I bounce around quite a bit, so the weekly summaries help me see the big picture. Consistency or obsession? I dunno! I have days, too, when I eat way over or a bit under my goal, so looking at the average over the week seems more sensible to me.

Like you, I wish we had more people as we used to!

Consistency is the key, not perfection, that's for sure! It's ok to bounce around day after day. And I agree that Sheila has been doing great!
