RE: Eat, Play, Write
Sheila, yes, we all get it and we all have moments when we think the same thing.
Getting pregnant after a bulk to gain muscle, when I had a cut planned changed things for me three years ago. Then having a baby and wanting to have the body I had before also made my mind spin. Should I eat less, should I buy a Fitbit, should I do more cardio or should I just carry on with what was really important to me? I realized I didn't want to eat less, I didn't want to feel more tired and above all, I had added responsibilities. Am I as cut as I wish I was, not yet, but I realized that at my age and in my life, all the second guessing was coming from shiny objects. Moving on at a slower pace kept me sane without leaving me behind, kept me going when life got messy.
