Hi all. Last week I got very little exercise due to hazardous air quality from forest-fire smoke. Overall, I've lost about 2 pounds since early July - slowly, slowly, but that's fine. I'm hoping the air will stay clear and I can get back to walking - I love my long walks along the river! Anyway, aside from that, I plan to stay at 1830 this coming week to see what happens. I really think I was estimating too high and that my tdee, at least at my current activity level, is closer to 1900, since I'm very slowly losing at slightly below that. I keep trying to cut a bit lower, but I get hungry and eat. :-) My macros are good (P 25-30%, F 30-35, C 40-45). There does seem to be a time lag in terms of ave calories and weight change - maybe 10-14 days. Anyone else see a pattern like that?

Starting weight in Nov. - ~145
Calorie range 1/10-4/7 = 2011-2308
Average weights 1/10-4/21 = 148.9-156.8
Chill through May & June -- no weigh-ins, ate what I pleased

I meant to eat ~1830, but I've had a hungrier week with much less exercise than normal due to hazardous air quality from forest fire smoke. Hopefully the rain we're expecting the next few days will clear the air and I can resume my walks. I've been backpacking my laptop to coffee shops, sit and write, backpack home, which gets me 40-120 minutes of walking with extra weight onboard. Anyway, that's where I am, and pretty sure I'm close (maybe slightly low) on my tdee estimate. Mostly trying not to obsess!

Hey Sheila,
Looks like you stayed stable, even eating more. probably walking with a heavier load did the trick. Hopefully the air quality will improve soon.
