I have been doing pretty good on the sleep - not so much on the "me" time. the hardest part is actually having time to cook and eat well. On the plus side i am VERY sick of fast food, so i have started to make sure I have lunch meats, chicken and other protein that I can take with me for lunch and dinner.

Yes on sleep improvement! It's such a big game changer! We don't realize how much better sleep can make a difference on everything. We want to tackle everything and do so much that we end up neglecting sleep. I am guilty of that and have been working on it as well. It's hard to unplug sometimes.

Well, one thing at a time, right? That's a great way to make sure you eat your protein!

So I know the Facebook group has pretty much taken over for the forums - but I am really not a facebooker. So posting here still!

So I planned to start cutting/maintenance cycles after 3 months at TDEE. I have to admit that just did not happen. So here I am after 9 month finally doing a cut. I have to admit the 9 months of eating normal and not gaining weight was a lesson to me. I can eat what I want and not gain weight.

I love not dieting big grin

We are still here, checking and lurking, maybe just posting as much. Not everyone like Facebook, but it’s more versatile and easier to connect in real time.
I love that you took this time out (pretty much a chill phase) and leaned from it! That is the best result you can get from a phase. More than not gaining, actually seeing that you CAN eat normally without gaining weight is a huge takeaway. Kudos for doing it and coming to such a realization!
