Fueling Life

RE: Fueling Life
Looks like you answered your own question, Jules wink. Warming up is always important, but you don't need to make your way up every time. After a general warm-up, you can go straight to you 64kg squat. Are your squats parallel? Mine weren't and I've been working on depth lately. I had to deload in order to make my way up.

RE: Fueling Life
I think I should be fine with depth, but I will make a video next time to make sure. Thanks! I'll see how it goes.

RE: Fueling Life
Jules, I love this! Thanks for sharing! Your form is great! Love seeing the depth and your back seems flat. I'd like to see the movement more fluid on the way up, but it can be hard with a heavy load. Way to go, girl!

RE: Fueling Life
Aw thanks Tereza! Yes it's definitely sticky on the way up. From what I gather from SS, I need to strengthen my adductors.

RE: Fueling Life
Are you doing Starting Strength? And how long have you been doing strength training?

By the way, are you Swiss? I just watched the video and saw your surname on Youtube. It sounds swiss...

RE: Fueling Life
I'm having a bit of a 'I feel pudgy' day. But I just came back from a strength workout and feel so much better. Funny how that is, I wonder if it's purely because of the endorphins, or if the glycogen in the muscles is what makes me feel swollen, and depleting the glycogen stores makes me feel deflated and light? (and sore, lmao) Anyone feel the same way?
