2ND round of STS and "Unexpected" BULK CYCLE!!!!

Wink 2ND round of STS and "Unexpected" BULK CYCLE!!!!
Well this is so very exciting, to actually walk through my first bulk cycle while doing the STS program. My first go round with STS, I actually finally mentally wrapped my mind around doing a reset and ate at maintenance for 8 wks through the Meso 2 and Meso 3 cycle. It was awesome. Had some great gains in strength and muscle. This is truly a big step and I plan to post some pics and act ually expose the area I dread the most...my chunky cellulite ridden thighs. My upper body has truly run past the lower, but I am hoping the bulk/cut cycles I am embarking upon will work it out thinking

So, pics are to come and more yammering. STS actually starts this coming Monday for me or maybe I will get going on Sunday. The first month will be at cut and then in the Meso2 cycle I move to 2600 calories. OUCH! That sounds crazy. But I have my protein shakes on the way and I plan to add good calories because I really don't want to just add fat...blushing

Thought I would start out with my weight today...lol. OH MY 166lbs! I am eating at a 200 deficit. Started cut at 400 deficit by accident. I thought I used Katch McArdle, but it was Miffleon St. Jeor..it was really a air head mistake for meblushing So, I have lost 2lbs since bumping up to 2222. Now TOM is on it's way so I will be higher, so I know the scale will start creeping up...oh well.

Figured I can ramble all I want in my little journal here...feel free to yack to. I am a yacker when I have a moment of peace(yes crazy busy household here)...

I'm trying to muster the courage to try my 1st bulk while doing my 1st STS, with lots of counseling from Kiki. not worthy

I gained on reset, haven't lost (in fact) gained on cut and am now heavier than I've been in 10 years. If I'm already waddling, why not add a few more....right? big grin

I'm taking measurements and pics (for the 1st time every) tomorrow so you may hear me wailing all the way from TN!

By the way, I'm only 6# heavier than you, but look 20# heavier (the reason for no pics). Nice work!!!

Regina, pics are so key because it helps you to see progress. It really does. Trust me I have some areas I keep eternally covered (THIGHS) and wish I had taken bare pics. I was going to actually see if I could muster the courage to show them for the starting pics, but NOT! LOL. Or I will take pics this time but not post them...lol.

Girl let's do this...my first bulk too and I did the same, gained a measly 4lbs in reset and went up in cut..like what. But the way we lift, I know there is just great stuff going on.

I'm the biggest, squishiest mess going right now so it's only up from here!!! I saw that you do STS at the gym. I don't own a barbell set (nor have a place to put one) and I'll need to buy heavier dumbbells pretty soon for STS. I thought about doing it at the gym. I bought the DVDS, but my son can transfer them to my phone. Do you just set your stuff up in one corner and go through the whole thing, pause the video and wander around to what you need (squat rack, etc.) and wait if it's not available, or what. I can't get my mind around the logistics of doing it in the gym. I love, love, love, my YMCA and know everyone there (at least in the mornings). Just wondering how not to look like a dork dragging my phone around in the weight room. laughing

I actually did it at the YMCA the first time. I collected everything I would need and ran through the routine in a corner in the weightroom. I haven't done the legs squat routine though. I did plyo legs.
